Vela came to live with me at the age of eight. She was never successfully bred. I believe she was a victim of Lyme disease. She was a wonderful mover with extension and reach. Very different looking from her famous brother Maestro. I loved her for four years before we lost her. With what I know now, I could have kept her with us longer. She was very elegant and a very droll character.
